The Queen of Queens

The label depicts the plaque of number 33 of the ruined Cascina Rocca, poetically placed in the middle of our rows: these extend for 2 hectares along a wonderful ridge, always exposed to the north winds. It was thanks to Domenico Ravizza and his long days spent in the vineyard that we were able to grasp the potential of this plot. Our pure Barbera is made exclusively in the best vintages and production is extremely limited, even less than 1 kg of grapes per plant. The result is a kaleidoscopic wine in which we wanted to enhance power, freshness, and fruit. From its deep ruby red color, aromas of red fruit, plum, and violet emerge on the nose. On the palate, it is powerful, fresh, balanced with a very persistent finish.
